How Is The Historical Mode

If I get this game, this is the only mode that I will basically play. My question is, is it realistic to previous season outcomes? Is it fun?

Well, it's rather fun and results are somewhat on par with reality. But it's game so results vary a bit. Ratings for players are somewhat accurate. Unfortunately there are several bugs that affect the game on historical mode so I would recommend to wait a month or two before making decision...
