Furious Owner

I am playing NYY in 2013 season with all the injuries they have had in real life, struggling like they are in my game and the Owner is furious. What does he expect when we are in a injury crisis?

Eh, it's the Yankees, not much you can do. Old George Martin was fired what? 5 times by Steinbrenner after all. His sons probably learned from the old man.

Actually haven't done a modern game in ages, which brother is considered the "Owner" by OOTP?

It is Hank listed as Owner now in game.

I have never tried any other sort of game beside real season, would not know where to start.

This is one regard in which the owner-attitude logic could be improved. The owners never care about injuries, and they really should, based to some degree on their personnel stance. A "demanding" owner should care less than a "lenient" one, but they should still care.

Honestly, I disagree.

In 1978 the Yankees were in serious trouble, again injury related. They were expected to compete, but by the All Star Break they were 11+ games back.

Steinbrenner most certainly did not say 'Oh well, crap happens.' He forced the trainers to tape a big 'F' on their door: F as in 'Any more injuries, and you're fired.' He kept pressure on Martin and Bob Lemon for the entire year. It happened to work out, but if it hadn't you can be quite sure heads would have rolled.

(Actually heads rolled anyway: Lemon was fired/released and Billy Martin returned for the 1979 season.)

Hank doesn't care about the injuries, he just wants wins.
It's a very tough first season but do-able.
Just ignore Hank.

Right, I was thinking of both of them and somehow merged their names together, no clue why.
