How Did I Live Without 14 For So Long?

Beginning to love 14 for Historical. Started up a History of The White Sox league and i am already at Openeing Day. I started this league at 2:48 am
(couldn't sleep) Normally it would take 4+ hours to do all the logos, jerseys, options, parks etc.

Love the fact I can do mostly accurate roster sizes and have the proper amount of SP & MR. I also love the coaches strategy. Posted a screen shot so people can find it. Can't wait to use those for my 2 main leagues. Now if 15 can use multiple jerseys (home, away, home alt, road alt, sunday alt, I feel like wearing this jersey today alt) I will be really happy.

Congrats on your best version to date Markus, yeah it still has a few misc bugs but the new features make me regret not pre-ordering. I guess i will have to pre-order 15.

Yeah those strats are a godsend. I even use them as a basis for my online leagues , picking the MGR who's style would best fit my team after it's drafted and make tweeks to them. It saves me hours of time setting all the possible strat situations and time frames by hand>>>>Love it, love it, love it!

There's stuff, tiny useful stuff, piled into nooks and crannies of OOTP 14. Have you tried the full logo and picture preview function?

This creates a html report that shows off the team logo, whole home and away uniforms, individual components of the uniforms, and seven different sized versions of the team logo.

Locate it on the Game Setup menu. Note that there are two functions, create logo and picture preview, and create FULL logo and picture preview. The full one is more comprehensive.

You can see by the attached screenshot that the Midland Rockhounds need to get fixed, and that there is no away uniform for the San Antonio Missions.

I can't believe I didn't know about the strat files either!! It's a great start on a list...I want more! Has anyone expanded this yet?

I actually shed a tear for OOTP13, I bet he's sat on The Game's hard drive looking at The Game's brand new OOTP14 avatar thinking all unloved. OOTP14 will be looking all smug saying I'm the new guy on the block, although 13 can sleep with the knowledge that 14 will be in the same boat next year when OOTP15 will be The Game's new avatar.

I have 11, 12, 13 & 14 all loaded on my PC. 11 being the oldest and being teh creator of my main league is safe and hasn;t left my system since I bought it 3+ yrs ago. 12 has come and gone a few times right now is still on because I have to convert my custom league from 11. 13. While it holds several leagues that I have yet to convert to 14 is hating the other 3. If all 4 versions were The Beatles, 13 would be Ringo.

You know, I didn't even realize they had all of those manager strategy files! Shows you how huge the number of things you can do with this game is!

Same here, I use previous versions to custom files at the moment 12 is being used as a guinea pig for different changes.
