Licensing OOTP14 question

I downloaded OOTP 14 and purchased it online from the web store. I am running Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). After purchasing when I booted up the game it did not ask me for the serial number for licensing and the box with that option had totally disappeared from the startup screen. I am wondering whether this is normal and if this has happened to anyone else playing the game on a Mac. By the way the game runs normally. Just curious as to why the licensing box has disappeared.

It sounds like you may still be in demo mode. Check your license status by going back to the Start Screen or by going to Preferences and clicking on the License tab.

I clicked on license in preferences and this is what comes up " unlicense game - do you really want to deactivate the license? The game will run in demo mode until you license it again using your order ID".

Sounds to me like it's already licensed but never asked me for order ID. I'm confused !! Doesn't the fact that it asks me if I want to unlicense or deactivate the license indicate that I do indeed have an activated license ?

I would think so. Maybe you missed something in the installation, or it picked up a previous license by mistake, who knows. You could always deactivate the license and reactivate it, to be sure. Otherwise, I would just assume that all is well.

Thanks Bru that's what I thought but it's always nice to hear it from a veteran OOTPer.
