What a mess--licensing and unlicensing

I bought the beta when it was Windows only. I just downloaded the MAC version and it didn't take my license (serial number) that was originally assigned to me as I was told it would.

I thought just in case I would unlicense it on the Windows side of my machine and either I'm stupid (always a possibility) or something is defferent. I can't see how to unlicense the program. Not to mention in the Windows front screen now there is no piture just white with no headings. It's a mess.

1. How do I get unlicense it on Windows so I can delete the program and not lose my license.

2. How do I license it on my MAC so it accepts the serial number/license I originally got?

All help would be appreciated.

It's located in Preferences ... and then License ...

I remember once upon a time it was no trouble to unlicense. I remember a preferences.

I now use the latest Windows abomination called Windows 8 and I can't find anything.

Any ideas my friend?

when you start the game there is a load game, continue game, etc. screen. There is also a preferences button. Use it. I just accidentally unlicensed my game as a test.. heh
