Manager Trick

Just found this out last night and thought a few others would like to know this trick.
It bothered me when a manager (especially a Connie Mack or someone) retired at the age of 62 when i wanted them to manage into their 70's. Once a manager retires there is no way to get back to their normal screen- where as commish you can reset a coach to coaching a team- all that was left was the BNN profile from the history manager screen
or so i thought

The trick is to SHORTLIST all of the managers you want to track for long periods of time. After the retire, their profile will still exist on the coach search, shortlist screen. From there you can still in commish mode get them back onto a team and managing again

Thought someone else might like to know this too
