Exporting data & then importing changes
How would I export data and then import the changes?
Let's say that I wanted to make changes to team finances and player contracts and salaries, but wanted to make changes in Excel, instead of going into each player or team individually. I am able to export the data using "export data to CSV files" command in the game setup area. But, my problem is I can't see any option to report any changes that I might make. I see where I can reimport stats and roster, but that's it. Nothing for reimporting things like team finances, park factors and anything else that I might eventually think of. (I haven't gone into anything to start to fool around with it yet, since I would need to know that I can then remiport whatever I do back into the game. Otherwise, I would just be wasting time in Excel.) |

You can't re-import the CSV dumps.

That's too bad.
So, I was wondering what good the CSV dumps where. Then, I realized that people can find uses for them. For example, I realized that I should be able to just configure a version of my Complete Baseball Encyclopedia that will be able to use the OOTP9 stats. |
