Post What Went Wrong?

I wanted to set up an All-Japan league. So first I took out all the names files except for the Asian ones, and put them in a different folder. i got an error. I figured it still was trying to read from files I moved. So I made a copy of those files, and changed them. Like Fnames was a replica of AFnames, so it'd still all be Asian names used. Well once again it crashed. I jusy reinstalled, so I was just wondering what went wrong and how my idea could work?

I think your second idea should be able to work, as you can edit the names files on your own typically. One thing to check on is how the files terminate, and whether or not you have frequencies with the names in the right fashion.

I'm not at home at the moment so I can't check things and find a work around, but if you are still having trouble later I'll take a look.

the thing is quite tricky. i saw the japanese league the computer baseball league has and tried to do something the same with no success. i emailed them and told me how to do it: *all* the names dat files are required for it to work, they just have to be the same. i mean, the names.dat and the lanames.dat have to be a copy of the anames.dat (same for the fnames.dat). it worked for me and, in fact, is pretty cool.
