Looking for a GREAT Historical League

I'm in the market for a great historical league. I want a league with active, vocal owners. I'd prefer a league of yesteryear rather than a modern one, but if a modern one is all I can find, I'll go with it. If anyone can give me any leads or suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
