2 questions I can't find answers to...

The first thing I need to know is how do I edit the history of a player? e.g. he was accidentally traded so now I need to remove the data that says. "traded from New York to Florida on 01/01/01." I am also adding a special recognition award that my GMs voted on themselves, so I would like to see it listed in the guy's history.

The second thing I need to know is the best way to conduct a draft when you have had multiple draft picks traded away. Will the game let me give Boston's second round pick to Chicago? If it will, then how do I do it? If it will not allow that, what is a good fairly efficient way to manage this?

Cheers, Maddux

Find the players number. (This can be found in his picture blank (if there is a picture there disable it a moment) it will say p####.bmp #### is the number you are looking for (1-4 digits)). Now go into you OOTP/STB folder, click NEWS then click Players. Look for p####.txt this is the player history file... you can edit it there. If you look around in the NEWS folder you'll also find the league and team transaction files to edit.

I believe that teams can be given multiple picks via the draft order utility. Without that you can create a fake player and name it Boston 2nd Round Pick... have Chicago sign this player to a minor league deal, conduct the draft, then afterwards from the trade screen have Chicago trade the player named Boston 2nd Round pick to Boston for the player that was the second round pick for Boston (obviously the White Sox manager would have made this pick). Then just release the fake player and delete him from the Free Agency Screen. Repeat as needed.
Hope this helps

It helped me a great deal. Where do I get the draft order utility?

Many thanks, Maddux
