Runtime error
I am getting a runtime error, saying that the program ended in an unusual way when I try to load an old game of mine.
It gets to about 50% and says it is loading players when the message get sent. I can load other games which I have started without an issue. The file that I am having problems loading is from the MLB07 from cubfan, and it had loaded ok in the past. Also I am not using the face gen thingy, and I am running the latest patch. Has anyone had similar problem? Last edited by jinif; 08-23-2007 at 04:47 PM. |

Upon further investigation I went into my league file and noticed that the DAT file called players has a size of 0 bytes, whereas all of the other DAT files have some size.
Could this have something to do with it? am I just screwed? |

Yeah, having an empty players.dat file would be a problem. You don't have a players.bak file in there, do you?

Do you have any idea why your players.dat file would have ended up empty? Did you crash while saving, or anything unusual such as that?

I think that was it, I don't remember exactly but I think there was some kind of problem (I was doing something else on the computer while it was saving) so I will be less demanding on the system in the future when I am saving a game.

Okay, I'm going to close this one out, then. If you need any further assistance, please post in Tech Support. Thanks.
