Middlesbrough to grab Dong-Gook?

The 27-year-old Pohang Steelers player has spent the last week on Teesside training with Boro, and talks are under way which could see him join the club.

Southgate said: 'Lee has been training with us for the last week. He is a South Korean international striker and we have been very impressed with his attitude, the way he has trained and his ability.

'He has a proven goalscoring record at international level and it is something we are hoping to take further.'

Lee has some experience in European football after a spell with Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga.

When you have a chance to grab Dong-Gook, you don't wait, you grab Dong-Gook. I'm thinking of grabbing Dong-Gook myself at five minutes after 10 this evening.

The "Lion King's" knee must be feeling pretty good, but he seems a bit fragile to me. He missed the '06 World Cup and that scintillating run by the Koreans in 2002.
