Yea, and I can never go to the back of the sports section and see 72 guys listed on the DL in baseball or injured reserve in the NFL.

Well, the fairies happen to play a physical game almost without protective equipment.

Doesn't seem like anything to worry about. The US athletes won't be able to count on a bounced Czech this time.

Yes, these are real men. I was watching the Germany-Costa Rica game and some German named Klings or something falls down and lays motionless for a few minutes until they bring the stretcher out. Then he can get up and walk off the field. And 5 minutes later, he scores from 90 feet out. That must have been a real devastating shot he took to be lying motionless five minutes prior.

You either know little about football, or you are trying too hard. It's just manipulation of rules, kind of like basketball.

By all accounts Nedved's had a poor season so maybe not so good news after all, player who's taking his place will be putting more effort in to stay in the line up to impress.

Milan Baros is almost certainly out for the Czechs with a strained tendon in his foot.

Yeah, when I played professional soccer for South Africa in the late 90s we were taught to fake being hurt. It was either that or die.
