Brand New League with two openings

The ASBL OOTP was created as a refuge for High Heat owners, and contains almost exclusively owners with little or no OOTP experience. We have two openings, one with Florida, and one with Kansas City.

This league is a modern league using 2006 preseason rosters, and free agency is actually opening today.

Mission of the ASBL: We will be starting with 2006 salaries and market situations, and gradually working toward a level financial playing field for all teams. The Yankees in several years will have the same market size and earning capability as the Royals.

About me. My name is Bill Akin and I am a veteran of many sim leagues, both High Heat and OOTP. I have been commish of the ASBL High Heat league for 18 seasons, and we have retained many owners for that entire period, which should tell you much about my integrity. I have been under the tutelage of Phil Zuber and actually simming for one of his leagues for a few months now.

We are and will remain a 6.51a league. I have no plans to change this league to the new version unless there is an overwhelming demand to do so.
