New season, new openings -- SOOSimbl
SOOSimBL is starting its 2006 season the first week of January and the following teams are open: Detroit, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Arizona, San Francisco.
This is a very competetive, stats-only league. Ability and talent ratings are hidden. Stars are enabled just so GMs can get a gross AI evaluation of players and draft candidates. This is the only league in the OOTP universe set up this way, so far. But once you try this unique configuration, which more acurately simulates the GM experience, you'll never be satisfied with anything less. To take a team register at the forum, go to the New Owners thread, check the Open Teams post, pick one and post your name, AIM screen name and e-mail. Then get to work! Chris W. I would have to say that this a great league. Good core of GM's who know what they are doing. This league really pays off for those GM's who are good with numbers. CMon people, join while the opportunity is here.

This is a great league. Using stats only adds a whole new challange to it, and we have a solid core of GM's.
Join up, we're starting the new season soon! |

MIL, DET and PIT taken. SF and ARZ still open. Help me keep SD at bay in the NL West!

Now simming every other day, on a 7-8-7 schedule, for an average of 3.5 sims a week. This 14.2857142857142857142857142857143% increase will allow GMs see the results of long-term rebuilding plans a little sooner than most 3/wk leagues.
