I had to rearrange and all, because if I didn't, this is what it would look like. There's nothing wrong with this one, which is why i post it, but I personally like the first better (which you can see later on this page). At least this way it gives you the choice. Nice logo either way, though.

First take on Drifters. I know the color isn't what you wanted. I'll see what I can do about adapting it.
Dbacks, thanks for resizing for me, and for the kind words. Last edited by knuckler; 06-30-2007 at 05:48 PM. |

Second drifters. BTW, I never mind rearranging, fixing up, improving upon. I think it's really cool.

Okay. If this doesn't work, hell, I don't know what will. The stupid logo is saved as 150 x 150 - I double checked. Hopefully it will show up like that when I attach it.
EDIT - It worked!!! Finally the son of a gun shows up at 150 x 150. I'm so happy!

Roadrunners:
Looked much better before it was resized, but it would look much worse in the game than this right here if I didn't do a little reworking of my own first. |

That Dallas Drifters #2 is special..like the colors, too...you really captured the mood I wanted...you brought it to life.
The Richmond Roadrunners is excellent...and the Jacksonville Beachcombers is as good as you can do. Thanks to both of you. |

I'll work on a Crackers logo. Not entirely sure where to start, but I'll give it a shot right now.

Here is a suggestion for the ATLANTA CRACKERS... just make a generic with city on top in bold block lettering...use orange with wide trim in red...put 'CRAX' inside a circle in script with tail in red on a white background...put "CRACKERS" on the bottom in same lettering, color and trim as "ATLANTA". MAKE CITY AND NICKNAME AS LARGE AS POSSIBLE. Forget this suggestion, if you already have started another design. |

I've already started something, and IF (that's a big if, so that's why it's capitalized and in bold), it comes out how I have it pictured in my mind, it should be pretty decent. I'm using the Oakland A's style, FYI.

HERE ARE THE NEXT LOGO REQUESTS:
LOS ANGELES ANGELS (go to www.chriscreamer.com and look at the California Angels) Select under "script logos" 1997-2000...black "Anaheim" above red Angels in black and white outline. Remove "Anaheim" and replace it with "LOS ANGELES"... If possible, put "LOS ANGELES" above "ANGELS"...but in larger letters than "Anaheim"...OR DO SOMETHING SIMILAR IF YOU CAN. FARM TEAMS: SEATTLE SUPERSTARS HARTFORD HALOS MIAMI METEORS DO THEM ALL YOUR WAY...COLORS AND ALL... 3 COLORS IF POSSIBLE. USE BOLD LETTERING FOR CITY AND NICKNAME. USE WIDE TRIM, TOO...THE DALLAS DRIFTERS SHOWS UP WELL. USE A TEAM SYMBOL IF POSSIBLE...OTHERWISE JUST PUT BOLD BLOCK LETTER IN CENTER IN A CIRCLE FOR THE CITY NAME. lol... I must admit, this isn't quite what I had in mind. I often have a hard time putting the picture in my head on to paper, so to speak, so I apologize if you were expecting better. I'm sure you were, but, unfortunately, I'm out of ideas. I'll go ahead and post these two (one is just a variation of the other - you can pick which one you use, if either, depending on whicih hobo you like better). If anyone, Eugene or anyone else, has any suggestions, that you think can improve on these (and trust me, most anything will), I'll be delighted to edit away.

dbacks: you came up with a good one with nothing to go on.
I like the second hobo. I like your royal blue circle w/white trim on gray background. CORRECTION: change "HOBOS" to "CRACKERS" SUGGESTION: Make the Royal Blue circle 2/3 of its current size. Then you can increase the size of "Atlanta". You know how I like for the city and nickname to stand out. Place "ATLANTA" in Royal Blue Block letters outside the circle and curved around the blue circle... keep the white trim on the circle. Try to make "Atlanta" larger. (use Block Boston Red Sox type lettering on page 2 of this thread) Place "CRACKERS" in Royal Blue block lettering curved below the blue circle. If this is not possible...or takes too much time...the second logo is fine, but would like for it to be "CRACKERS", Atlanta's nickname for 50 years in the Southern Association. YOU DID WELL AGAIN. |
