Is this the post-padding thread?
Follow-up: Has that already been asked? Follow-up to the follow-up: If so, did it take more than 5 questions? Follow-up to the follow-up to the follow-up: If so, is that surprising? |

I hope so. David is an extremely talented as well as popular broadcaster. He has a true understanding of the game. He knows what it takes to win, he showed that during his playing career and he conveys that well to his viewing audience. It's hard for a broadcaster to be truly great without ever having played the game on a professional level and David not only did that but ecelled at it. He brings a great veteran outlook to the booth and I think he will be in the booth for many years to come. Joe

C'mon Joe, you messed up. No one expects an ex-jock to be up on their geography, so just admit you didn't know what you were talking about. We'll respect you for that.

THe reason why I brought it up is that you were saying that there will soon be, in your opinion, a team outside N.A.; If you take the two best cases for teams outside of the USA, we would be looking at San Juan, Puerto Rico (which, although a Caribbean Island, is still considered N.A.) and Mexico City, Mexico, which is also considered N.A. My comment was not made to be rude and I was not confused it was just made to question where outside N.A. we could see a MLB franchise. Thanks... MD |

Mr. Morgan,
If Barry Bonds played in the dead ball era would he have hit as many home runs as the great Frank "Home Run" Baker did in that time? Oh, and before I forget, Will OOTP6 have intangibles as a trait? Thank you in advance! Last edited by Sir Lurksalot; 10-25-2003 at 12:10 AM. |

I don't know if intangibles will be in the next version of OOTP but if they are serious about creating a realistic baseball simulation there should definitely be more weight put on the intagibles just like there is in real life.

Why did the Marlins win the series despite the Yankees having better intangibles and veteran leadership?

How clutch is Aaron Boone? I mean the guy bats .170 in the post season with bad defense, but in extra inning game 7's he homers in every at bat. Does it get anymore clutch than that?
