Just duplicated it with a different player in the regular season.

Okposo went down with an injury, I put him on IR, but didn't call up a replacement. I had 13 other forwards (4 of them listed as RW), 7 D and 2 goalies still on the roster.

I had no game scheduled the next day. When I simmed to finish the day, I was back up to 23 players on the roster with Bernier having been called up from Bridgeport without my consent, bringing me back up to 23 guys with the big club.

If you select expansion at the START of your league how does it work?

Same as normal expansion, you name the teams, there's an expansion draft to stock the teams from the rest of the league's castoffs, and then the teams are part of the league going forward.

The major thing you miss by expanding immedtiately is free agent season, the good ones are signed by the time you expand, unlike in other seasons, where you get to go after them right from July 1.

Brooklyn Islsnders in Patch 2 meaning in 2016-17 Season that move would happen?

Get rid of Rosters Restrictions meaning unlimited Rosters because can't change League Rules like at Draft?

Why aren't Computer control Teams at Draft making Trades? Also why isn't 2 days?

If I start a historical league in the 1930s and don't have a draft the first couple of offseasons (mainly because I must have missed a check box on creation) is there a specific day when I can change the league to add a draft?

I think the abbreviations in the schedule and in standings are ugly, especially since there is a lot of empty space.

Any chance that there will be an option where we can select the entire team name for schedule and standings ??

No, once a historical league is set up and the draft/no draft choice is made, it can't be changed later in the game.

The ones that can be changed can only be adjusted on July 1, in commissioner mode using the League >> Edit screen.

I'm trying to plan an expansion draft for two user-controlled teams. What's the best way to do this? Can the commissioner manually input picks or do we need to bounce the save files back and forth?

So, in the first season (eg DEL), it can no changes are made? DEL starts in August.

I´m in an online league and trying to add more ass.coaches but the "action-button" is greyed out and it´s not possible. Not seeing this when playing offline, so is it not supposed to be possible to sign coaches in an online league or is only possible at specific dates or something?

No, I am on the draft screen itself. No button that says "DRAFT PLAYER" or anything like that. When I click on action I get a bunch of options such as "forfeit pick", "CPU finish draft", "pick until human", etc - but nothing that suggests I could draft a player there. When I click on the player's profile and "ACTIONS" I'm only given options to "scout", "send contract offer/trade for player" or "add to shortlist". So, how do you actually make a pick.

Also, you guys might want to add a "are you sure you want to forfeit pick?" command box as I accidentally hit that and I cannot go back now - have to start the 2 year sim all over again

I'm confused about team finances, I don't see much in the manual concerning this.

Why is my Available money for Free Agents a negative number ($-3M), when my Salary Cap Space is positive ($24M).

My actual player salary is about $54M, with a salary cap of $70M, but it shows my Player Payroll at $71M and a Budget of $68M.

I guess I don't understand what else goes into these numbers, ... Coaches?, Minor League?

So I started a historical league from 2014. The first off-season had no draft, but the second one had a draft and only the Candiens had picks. What's up with that? Edit: I just did the draft, it was one round and the Candiens just selected the top 30 players. That's it. End of draft.

How do I import files for an online league? I'm at the Manage Online League screen, I've clicked "Download" and then "Import" but it says 0 files successfully imported.

I've tried having the teams' exports here:
Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2\saved_games\SSG Hockey.lg\teamfiles\import

and just here:
Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 2\saved_games\SSG Hockey.lg\teamfiles

Neither works? Thanks for the quick help! (trying to sim now)

If starting a new league with an initial draft, is there a way to edit the starting draft order? Or change it from snake to straight? Doesn't seem to be...
