I'm going to try and clean that Tigers one up a bit, and work on the PIrates one with bue and red, but it looks like the set is pretty much done other than that. Thank you very much for the nice words.

I hope this is ok. I tried using the uniform page at the hall of fame site to match the correct colors for the era:

knuckler --
Each and every one of these is excellent. You have just provided me with an updated set of logos for my historical league. Thank you for your time and your great work. I think the quartet of Phillies logos are my favorites. Great work!

Great work, knuckler.......one thing I'd add to the Yanks logo is pinstripes behind the 'NY'.

I think the colors on the uniform page at HOF site got a little washed out somehow in the translation from Okkonen's drawings (particularly the blue). From what I can tell, these are the Pirates blue & red colors 1920-48 in case you want to use them instead. |

I'm still going to try and change that Bucs logo, and then I'll send these along to JOe for his site in case anyone has any interest. In the meantime, I'm going to be working on a set for Joe, and I'm going to post them in this thread. Here's one interpretation of the Bills, I've got another one that I am working on and should have later today.

Great logo on Buffalo Bills.
I'm glad your MLB Series will be available on JoeRock's site. It is one of the best I have seen. Last edited by Eugene Church; 04-26-2005 at 01:57 PM. |

I think I used 12 or 13 for my Alltime Allstar League...and there are only 16 teams...these logos are really great...they are beautiful in the game. |

knuckler, I have a new request:
I am using the circular logos you have created here for my historical league, and while I also use them on the league web site, there is a section where I want to try something different. Here's what I am thinking, using the St. Louis Browns circle logo (attached) as an example: Height: 50 pixels Width: 120 pixels Left 1/3 of the image: the team logo (slanted, with shadow -- something to make it jump) Right 2/3 of the image: the team name Background color: one of the teams colors -- in the case of the Browns' example, brown My idea is simple, but I was hoping that you could inject some graphical creativity into it (something that I lack). I would love to see what you could come up with, if you are willing to take on the project. My specifications above were pulled out of nowhere, so if you have another idea, I'd love to see it. I hope that you can help me out...thanks!

I can try and help you out, though that is a really small size to work with. I'm also a bit backed up right now, so I feel like Im letting people down a bit in this forum. I'll do my best to see if I can help though.

No, I definitely don't mind helping out. I just need some more direction on exactly what you might be looking for. My big cocern is that the template is kind of small to work with, but I'll see what I can do.

knuckler,
I appreciate the effort. I think the problem is...I don't know exactly what I want. Which really doesn't help you much... I played around for a short bit (with my limited abilities), and what I came up with is attached below. I don't know if that will help, or if I need to sit down and think about this some more.
