right but it's still very tilting to constantly see things happen that are against the rules as they are written

Not sure if you have ever watched a basketball game where the officials call a game strictly by the book or not. All I can say is that it kinda sucks when that happens. It's not really a basketball game anymore, so much as it is to see which team will basically foul out first, and be forced to forfeit.

I saw a game so bad in high school one time, where it was down to 3 vs. 4. All the other players fouled out. They mostly fouled out form play that most officials ignore altogether. It was quite sad.

And that was a playoff game too, to see who makes it to states. Ultimately, my high school's basketball team won the 4A state championship that year, and like 5 years in a row.

BTW, despite my love of hockey (obviously), baseball was and always will be my first love. I've tuned out traditional fantasy baseball and even MLB quite a bit, but because of OOTP, my love of baseball in itself lives on.
You just combine hockey and baseball into one by using Hockey teams in OOTP.

Not basketball, but I've listened to a soccer game on the radio that was like that, the announcers (and fans, not always politely, it was a small stadium (Boston United IIRC) and you could hear them lol) were complaining a lot.
