We've fixed something up here now so this will not happen for next version.

Unfortunately it does seem like the data unpacking is a second contributing issue here too, but that's high on our list of things to fix up as well.

One way or another we'll get this sorted out.

Everything that Takao did, I also did. Correct build, always used default installation, nuked all the files, including searching for any leftover files. I even ran a registry check and got rid of any leftovers from uninstall/deleting files, etc.

Do we have an ETA on the next patch dropping? Failing that, is there any way to get at least a smaller patch to enable Challenge Mode for the Fast Spring build? I'm pretty eager to start playing.

I did the re-install and tried to start a new game. The start-up skipped the challenge mode selection box completely.

It's not selected by default, you would have to manually select it. Or are you saying it wasn't there at all?

The option to select challenger mode was not there at all.

You may have disable the option for the challenge more prompt to appear. You can re-enable that in the setting popup, in the Misc tab.
