I think putting the established date takes away some of the negative space, but you can decide which you like better, Tarmer.

I like the bevel idea. Have you tried a pinpoint blur around the edge?

I did that to try and distinguish the logo from the tie, since they are the same color...
No I haven't tried that... Tell me exactly how to do that...

Select the blur tool at size 2. Zoom in 3 or 4 levels and blur around the edge.
