The Jays were set to win the penultimate game of the season but with on out left to go, Dellin Betances gave up a 3-run homer to Christian Walker to give Boston the 5-4 walk-off win.

Toronto saw homers by Marcell Ozuna, Derek Dietrich, and Didi Gregorius.

It is hard to say how seriously the Blue Jays took their final game of the season. They did not play like the game mattered, and it didn't.

The Red Sox won 11-5.
