I have no idea who Douglas Vain is. The list of players on the 1971 Richmond Braves team in B-R.com does not contain anyone with the first name Douglas or the surname Vain.

Got it. Even though Grady Little spent most of the 1971 season with the Fort Lauderdale Yankees, he played 8 games with the Greenwood Braves that year. And, on that basis, you wanted a photo of him in a Richmond uniform. Don't know why it was so hard for me to figure that out.

There was another version of the 1894 team picture in the jun 30, 1909 Sioux City Journal (https://www.newspapers.com/clip/2141...y_cornhuskers/). Based on that picture, I'll try to match up some of the players in your picture.

Sorry, not a lot of help. The reference photo isn't all that great.

The top photo here is an 1889 photo of the Evans Driving Park Baseball Grounds, which I think was still the park they used in 1894.

Hello. Any photos of Rick Stelmaszek, Rod Gaspar, Dick Kenworthy, Don Mason, Lee Richard in a Indianapolis Indians Uni? They played there in 1972.

This Gaspar photo is from the Indianapolis Star of 8/13/72.

Couldn't find any Stelmaszek photos in an Indianpolis uniform. He came to Indianapolis around June of 1972, after the season began.

From Indianapolis News of 4/13/1972. Richard's photo was one of a series representing the Indianapolis team for the home opener in 1972. Though he is not wearing a cap in this photo, the piping around the neck of the jersey identifies it as an Indianapolis Indians uniform, just like the other players in the photo series.
