This may have been answered already, but will the World Baseball Classic be a part of OOTP 18? I recall seeing something about international management, at least I thought I did.

There will be no WBC, as we will not have a license for that. But it will be really easy to set up a similar style tournament in your universe.

Makes sense. As a follow-up question, well we be able to manage national and international teams? I'm thinking along the lines of Football Manager type International Management. I'm guessing no since the WBC can't be included, but I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly.

You will be able to take on manager/gm roles for the tournaments.

Pre-Ordered....Of course, and with a smile on my face. As always the price is reasonable and the rewards are excellent

Two questions:

1) Any chance we will get easily sortable stats (as in one click at the top of each stat column) at the Team level to compare how the teams rank in a league for each given category ?? No that was not possible in 17 without downloading the stats outside of the game

2) On behalf of those of us who play out all 162, will we get any real time in-game info on relievers warming up for the opposing team, as in seeing which reliever is warming up for the opposition

I actually have a question that crossed my mind recently. If I set up a "WBC" style tournament in-universe before the reg season starts, if a pitcher I have on my MLB team is pitching in it and say tears his UCL, will he also be out long term for my MLB team like real life? If so, I will be selective to make sure I don't send many guys off my MLB team.

Is there any/better support for Retina/HiDPI type displays in OOTP18? I have a Surface Pro 4, and while I have been able to get playable (using settings of: windowed, user resolution of 1352x833, small font sizes, display scaling ON), it's definitely not ideal.

I read yesterday about MLB implementing international rules for extra innings (a runner is awarded second base with no outs). The rule is going to be tried out at the lowest minor league levels. Any chance of getting this setting as a toggle-able setting?

......only if the default is leave extra innings as they have been played for the past 100 years

I agree that the default should be the way its been. It just had my curiosity since it will be different in the lower levels this year.

This is unfortunate news as the baseball league (14 teams) I'm apart of is in search for a new baseball platform to utilize. This league dates back to the early 80s when there was only table top baseball, and has evolved with the given technology. One of the main goals of the league is to play as many of the 162 games against a human opponent rather than the computer - via online head to head play.

Out of curiosity, has there been polling among all the current OOTP leagues to know how many would utilize a head to head feature?
