) is S.S.S. Small Sample Size. You can't really tell anything conclusive from a 20-25 game sample in a given season. Things that seem out of whack at the start often have a way of evening out as the season goes along, same as a guy who starts out hitting .625 after the first month is likely to be back near his normal BA by the end of the year. I'd suspect this is the case here, as, if walks were as out of line as you suggest, other people would be reporting the same issues. can't recall seeing anything to that effect, but perhaps I just missed it. If you still feel you have a legitimate beef (and you might; I'm just saying that there isn't enough evidence yet to draw any conclusions), you'd need to compile a lot more than 25 games from a given season to check things out. Maybe try simming a few runs through a given season and compare your results to the real-life numbers for that year, which you can find at Baseball-Reference.com - Major League Baseball Statistics and History. If you've done that and things still seem out of whack, you might want to post that on the forum in a topic of its own so that other players can more easily see it and offer comment. Perhaps they'd find something in your settings that's increasing the number of walks. Or you can post a support ticket and draw the attention of the game developers to your problem.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but playing 90% as GM I would loooove a "Watch Game" button for my team's games. As it is, I have to go to "Manage Game", then switch all five control fields over to the AI. Every game. Heck, I'd be happy if the game remembered my settings for managing games (i.e. AI run), just as it does my broadcasting settings (detailed/fast, speed of text, warm up rule ...).

Two things. I don't know if they've been mentioned yet.
1. The salary +/- buttons should adjust to appropriate values for the financials of the league. Doesn't make much sense to have a +10K button when the highest salary in the league is $3400. 2. When managing a game, you have quick-play the AB, half inning, inning, and game. How about a quick-play until RISP? You could skip the "boring stuff" and still be able to jump in and manage the key situations, whether batting or pitching. Who's with me on these?

Another idea, a season summary bar.
It would be for teams detailing their placement in the league and how far ahead or back they been. Something like this: Toronto Blue Jays: Current Positiion - 2nd place, 3 1/2 games back Most Games Ahead - 4 games Most Games Back - 7 games. Additional - Maybe even put in how many days a team has lead a division. Last edited by DerekT; 05-02-2010 at 10:50 AM. |

I hear you on this one. The max yearly salaries in my league may get to $150k per year. Although in terms of practicality with the majority of the user base, I doubt our request is heeded as most use modern financials. This could appeal to most historical players as well though. |

Another thing:
I switch between historical, current day and fictional leagues a bit. I like having historical photos for historical, face gen for current day leagues, and I like how I can choose betweem what I prefer for any league. However, I would greatly appreciate an option to not use real world player image data. This would stop real life pictures popping up in ficitional leagues if a fictional player happens to share a name with a real life one; and it would be unnecessary to delete/move/copy the huge picture database that many use for their games.

Oh. I know that it was mentioned a bunch before, but adding Wins Above Replacement would make a heck of a lot of sense following the fielding stat upgrade. VORP is very outdated by now, so being able to reference WAR would be great.

I don't know if this can be done in an update, but the biggest, biggest thing I want in the game is the ability to have coexisting leagues with different financials that evolve. If you could have your majors with $xx tickets and salaries and budgets and then create other leagues with $yy numbers, you could create independent and international leagues with meaning over time.
I can dream, right? (Oh, and please fix the "no owner" bug. Thanks.) |

How about being able to make a player a captain. Not that big of a thing but maybe it could be used to increase happiness.

I've been manually assigning team captains for the longest time, editing histories and using a Word file to track team histories with the captains. I would love, love, LOVE an automatic captain function. Oh, and they should be coded to rarely leave the team via trade or FA. |

I don't think MLB real life teams assign captains. That's a football thing. At least I can never remember watching a baseball game on tv and having anyone anywhere ever mention anything about a team captain.

Edit - it looks like there are two more captains that play today - Paul Konerko of the White Sox and Derrek Lee of the Cubs. Last edited by NYY #23; 05-02-2010 at 09:11 PM. |

Team O. Report that would combined it with Top Propects and add like best Pitcher,Best Pinch Hitter and so on and also include Team D. Chart Page for whole Organation? Multi Team Trades? Shared Affliations? Have a Affliate in another League that's affliated with another league?

when you sim a half inning or inning, the AI should make changes. Right now if i want to sim an inning or so, i have to go to the options menu and have the AI set to make substitutes. Otherwise, if i dont, he'll leave in my pitcher to allow like 10 runs sometimes. In the earlier versions, the AI made subs when you simmed in inning.

Player Comparison Window-Defensive ratings
Don't know how much work it would need and I know you don't always compare ss to ss or c to c etc but seeing the defensive rating in the Player Comparison window might be nice and helpful.
