Using JPGs on web for player photos

I've seen some leagues do this in OOTP6 versus the old BMP requirement in previous versions. How do I set my game to do that so that the game generated pages point to JPGs?

If I'm not mistaken, the game requires .BMP's for photos to show. Otherwise there is no option within the game to choose between the 2.

Some leagues are using JPGs. I was told that it was a new feature in OOTP 6. I'm also trying to get a reply from them, but thought I might get a faster response here.

It's in the FAQ, NO JPG support.

You could easily do it for the web part of the program. Just search and replace all of the .BMP with .JPG in all of the documents. There are a lot of programs that could do that for you.

So, you would generate the reports after turning photos on, run a program to search and replace *.BMP and then put the files on the server. Of course, you have to have the actual JPGs in place. This could cut down a lot of bandwidth if your server has limits on your usage.

Frontpage has this search and replace option.
