Peoria Chiefs new logo

Nice looking logo. I like the Dalmatian theme and the fireman's outfit that ties in with a Fire Chief (rahter than Indian Chief, I guess).

The old one was tied to the Cardinals, the club's former affiliation

What do you guys think?

I don't like the blue in the new logo, it's kind of hard on the eye. But overall I think it's a very nice change different enough but still keeps the general feel of the original logo. But then again, the old one was perfect as well since the team was affiliated with the cardinals.

Great find.

Now that you mention it, I'm not thrilled about the blue either. You have a good trained eye for such things.

I like the old one better, of course I am a little biased as it was my avatar for a while.

Personally I think it's too busy. I'm not sure if it's the blue or what I would call "old gold" colored border. And I would think they'd like the focus to be on the dog as the new mascot and he's covered up too much by the nickname.

The dalmation is a nice touch and allows the team to remain neutral in the event they switch affiliates again and is socially more acceptable.

UncleBuc is my kind of critic...he has a very good eye.

I think we have guys here who could do a much better logo.

Some of them should do one and send it to the Peoria general manager...of course...protect the rights some way, so you could get something for your work and creativity.

I don't like it either. Looks like something you'd find in a cartoon or something; not a logo that's associated with a sports team.

I sent the Peoria management an e-mail and told them to come here when they get ready to update their logo.
