How do you do FA signing period

I am intersted to here how differnt leagues handle thier FA signing period.

We currently do 6 sims 5 days each. However I offered the idea of simmming the first 25 days with no offers and then doing the last 5 days one at a time and I am looking for feedback on this from leagues that do it this way. Thanks

Did that in a league before. I didn't like it, I don't remember why though so no real help.
