What's wrong with this "Pitcher"
Just venting. At the allstar break.
Menchaca 93 99 100 .....4-3 4.02 ERA .....13 games pitched! Valverde 51 51 34 ......8-0 2.35 ERA.......12 games pitched God Damnit! I guess i'll just pretend i'm paying pitcher#2 the 11 mil per year. |

why do you want a great player with good rating , to do well every year....they should have an off year too once in awhile just like the major league..... and players with poor rating , have a career season for a year just like the major league.... |

not only is this example using a very small sample, but some of the randomness does in fact add to the overall experience...

11-14 4.46, Roger Clemens 1993 season. Great players have bad years, it happens in real life and OOTP.

If you were playing a 1993 season in ootp, the chances of that happening are slim. But....as shown here, in Beantown in '93, it CAN happen.

Here's an example of pitcher 2, 17-10 3.39, Dave Fleming 1992 season. He never had another decent year and quickly faded out of baseball.
