Internet Legacy Baseball League (ILBL for short)
http://www.desotowatch.com/ilbl -30 teams -All MLB teams with Montreal relocated to Memphis -Current players (with original 2002 release Rolen Roster set) -Just finishing the first season -No waiting list right now. (1 or 2 openings actually) -We sim 15 days at a time, 2 times a week. Other info: -All I expect from owners is to participate and use some common sense. -We require one mandatory news story per year but each team is paid $1 million for the story. -I pretty much have a laissez-faire view of the league, but should any conflicts arise the league administration will rule with an iron fist.

WSBL-World Series Baseball League
We will hopefully be switching over to OOTP SERVER soon. number of teams-(30) whether its using current, historical, or fictional players-(current, real players, inital draft, inital season) how long it has been in existance-(Inital season, 3months) how long the waiting list is (if any)-(12ppl long) how often and how long each sim is(2 sims a week, monday and friday of 2 weeks long each.) and anything else that would be helpful-(High expectations on quality of GM's,. and activity....5 rounds of rookie draft, pix aren't allowed to be traded.) |

MLB Century League
www.vintagesportinc.com/mlbc.htm This is a 16 team historical oldtimer league. League started in the 1905 season and we are currently simming 1921. Each sim covers 15 days and we sim three times per week. We keep a short 2-3 man waiting list. MLBC stresses historical accuracy, we use an historical league structure and no free agency. All incoming rookies are individually edited for fielding and running and each rookies starting stats are based on career average. Also all cup-of-coffee players are deleted prior to entry draft. We are one of the longest running oldtimer leagues, haven't been able to accurately determine who came first, us or Glory Days. We were probably the first league to use a scroll board, and probably the first to post historical events particular to the sim period with each sim. Barry MLB Century Boys of Summer |

In thinking it over a little more, I've decided I'm not the best one to do this website. It seemed like a fun idea at the time, but since I've had time to think it over, it sounds like a lot of tedious work without much fun. (Unlike my planned fantasy league, which I have thought about for a while, and while I understand it will be a ton of work, it will also be a lot of fun
)So, if anyone else is interested in taking up the idea, go ahead--I won't stop you ![]() Dave |

I think you have everything you need there. My only suggestion is to ask owners to include more than just "Our league is the best" and similar comments in the text area. Ask them to describe what separates their league from the rest of the pack, and to be specific
What planned on doing, instead of using an all-out database script, was just use Excel to gather and sort all the data alphabetically by league name, save it as a text .csv file, and upload that to the server I was going to use. I found a script that would take the info from such a file and print it on a web page, even splitting the list up so only 10 or 20 leagues would display per page. If you're interested, you'll find that script here: http://prozac-cgi.virtualave.net/ I didn't want to go to the trouble of using a full database script, although in the long run it would be easier. Good luck, Dave |

NBSL
www.nbsl.ootp-leagues.com
30 teams We use current players with a 2001 roster set We have been in existance since about December of 2000 is my guess. We have about 15 guys on the waiting list We sim 10 games on Monday and Friday nights Other - We have a good league with a very good group of owners. Our web guy is great and so is the commish. Sims are done live via an AIM chatroom, (this is really cool). Other than that I dont know what else to say. We have about 10 team web pages, we also have our own history pages and ballparks pages. We just have stuff all over the website. take a look www.nbsl.ootp-leagues.com |

MLNB
http://mlnb.web1000.com/ teams: 12 , 2 leagues with 6 teams in each players: fictional waiting list: 2 MLNB's initial draft is being held tomorrow (SUN 7/28) at 8:00PM EST. MLNB is a fictional league consisting of only 12 teams. There will be a pre-season tournament each season. Live sims will be held once a week. Looks to be a very promising league with great owner participation.

Ok the site is up and running. It's not done yet but the database is up and working.
So if you would like to add your league to the directory or search for a league goto: http://sim-leagues.com Thanks!
