Historical Sims

Hey everyone

Well this is my 1st post. Where can I get this database in order to simulate historical seasons? I've searched a bit on here but I haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome, pklacombe. The Lahman database, available at http://www.baseball1.com/, is the official way to create a historical league. However, a good deal of players, including myself, use Ankit's modifications of the Lahman database, both found in this thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ad.php?t=63870

Just a question...Do I have to download the Lahman's Databse in order to use Ankit's or is it included in his download?

Ankit's is self contained. You don't have to download Lahmans.

One more question.....

After each season, will the database update the teams in each league? I don't mean the players but rather the teams, whether they moved, folded and/or expansion????

No, that you will have to do manually.
