Ok for those of you that are interested the updated 2004 halofan roster set is up


Added rookies, adjusted some finances, changed a team naming issue, all transactions up to June 3rd have been added, tinkered with some players ratings to bring down some large SB totals. Next update is to be done by July 1 and will have more rookies and the June draft class is scheduled to be added.


head over to www.simleaguecentral.com register to become a member and then you can get to the downloads. Any thoughts on this is encouraged. Remember this is a league based on MY opinion and you know what they say about opinions, they are like buttholes, everybody has one and they all stink, so feel free to change players as you see fit. Im sure this is not a perfect set but the longer i make these sets the more i take the users opinions into it and adjustments are made all the stinking time.

these are the best roster to get for ootp 6...because he updates them monthly...and he does alot of research from his resources from books...so there alot of facts on these ratings than opinions

Halofan, i didnt know in ootp u could add your own rookie draft of players you want....i tought ootp generates its own list of random amatuer players per draft year...

is the set for ootp 6 the only one that is updated?

the park factors are off on the updated ootp 6 roster set u made..

for example petco park for san diego and phildelphia citizen bank park shows all 100 for park factors..


my suggestion is to download Ankit stadium 2004 , and to look inside the Ankt stadium folder for his OOTP 6 dats folder...open it, and then open the ankit factors folder found inside ....copy the three files park.dat, weather.dat and parkconfig.dat and paste inside the halofan.lg folder found inside your ootp 6 folder...

dont worry about the 100 factors folder u see in the ankit stadium folder...those dats are for historical leagues...

also there still 4 teams with no financial info for 2003 financies in front office for Angels, Arizona, Atlanta and Baltimore...

Halofan any way you can do a quick update for that..would hate to wait another month for that fix...

I have just put a new file up as of 1:05pm CST and it contains the financial fixes and stadium corrections. i have also added some small text files having to do with the 3 HR's in a game, the 6 hits in a game and this file also includes Randy Johnson's NO-NO vs. Atlanta, Pena and Soriano's 6 hit games this year, Lowell and Gonzalez's 3 homer games this year and a small asterisk has been added to players who have hit 3 HR's in a gme in the post season.....the readme file will tell you the other specific changes

I will also be updating this file more than once a month due to its rather surprising popularity, so an update every 2-3 weeks is not un heard of now, just check the date on my site for the roster set and you will know how old it is

I am looking for anyone with info on pitchers who have had more that 15K's in a game cause searching and hunting for THAT stat is about as painful as a root canal with no pain meds. get me on AOL at halofan26 or email at duckfart76@comcast.net

all teams cash in front office is set to 25 mil

so i recommend in league setup to change the default cash max of 10 mil to higher than 25 mil.....most say 30-50 mil is a good setting to have it on...

Go ahead and use the 15+ Ks in a game file from my 1987 League File that you host. It won't take you all the way to 1987 but it will be better than nothing!
