Just A Question
Which record do you think is least likely to be broken in HOB2?

Re: Just A Question
Quote:
However, I think the hardest will be Jake Boultes 574 complete games. As I get into the mid-40's and the era setting changes it will be impossible to surpass. Therefore, for someone to surpass it they need to be well on their way right now. The only player I see with a shot at is Red Ruffing. Ruffing is 32 years old right now and has 288 career complete games, the exact same number Boultes had when he was 32. However, Boultes pitched until he was 43 and from the ages of 33-42 averaged 30 complete games a season. I checked out my original HOB1 and found the highest complete game total by a player who played entirely after 1901 (excludes Kid Nichols and Cy Young) was Tim McCabe's 461. The highest total from a player who played the bulk or all of his career after 1940 was Johnny Podgajny with 451 and Howie Pollett with 392. So Complete games is my guess as the toughest HOB2 career mark to break. Real good question. Any other thoughts from anyone?
