Help Me Get My RF Back!!

I imported my OOTP5 solo league and my RF Juan Gonzalas was on the DL. Now I can't activate him. I can't put him on the 40 man roster from the DL because it is an invalid transaction. I can't put him on the 25 man roster because he is not on the 40 man. He refuses a trip to the minors for call up and teams try to claim him off waivers. What do I do?!

First thing I'd try is going into the league setup, turning off 40-man/Rule 5 and Waivers.

Then move him to your major league team.

Then turn Rule 5/Waivers etc... back on. I don't know if this will work or not... but it's what I'd try.

This could be a bug that we can report. There was a last minute change because of an exploit that allowed people to demote a veteran to the minors if he was on the DL (would have refused the assignment from the major league roster, but from DL he would go). Markus closed the exploit.

Anybody else having this problem?

I thought you could put a veteran from the DL to the minors to test them and/or get rehab starts. Do we not have to worry about their injuries affecting their talent/ratings after they are 'healed'?
