OOTP 6 Release??
Anyone know when will OOTP 6 will be released?
I'm new to the Sim world of baseball and been playing an older version of Season Ticket Baseball and I love it.. I don't want to waste my money and buy OOTP 5 (ever though it's at a bargain price) when OOTP 6 could be around the corner. Any info would be great Thanks, Dre |

Late March to mid April. OOTP generally releases every year around the beginning of the real baseball season.

Actually, in past years it's been late February or early March... hasn't it?
Of course, with ITP taking up extra time of Markus I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit later. |

I seem to remember that around this time last year we already had some preview screenshots to drool over. I know Markus has been busy with ITP, but it would be great to get some kind of OOTP6 preview in the near future.

Yep... the first ones came out December 25th, 2002. Hopefully we'll get some later this month.

OOTP6 will be released when it is ready. My suggestion is to go ahead and buy OOTP5 now, and enjoy that until OOTP is released. I think you will find it is worth it.

I hate to disagree with everyone....But If you are tight on money or you can wait a few months wait and buy OOTP 6.
Its not that OOTP5 Isn't fun(I'm still playing the game now and I bought It when It came out) Its just that with a few months till the next version comes out It makes sense to wait and purchase the newest version. Of course If money Isn't a issue buy OOTP5 now and OOTP6 when It comes out. And by the way If you want to play OOTP till then Over at Home Of the Underdogs Markus released OOTP2 as freeware. While Its true this game Is old and dated now(Great game In Its day) It would at least give you some baseball action till OOTP6 comes out If your on a budget. |

OOTP6 rawks! The whole new schedule generator makes it worth the price alone.
