Missing Images?

The first time I installed and played everything worked fine. Since then the UI is missing images. I've tried disabling Direct 3D, re-installing and rebooting. Any ideas? I've posted a screenshot so you can see what's happening.

Pic does not work. Make sure the images are in the right place. Which images specifically?

I edited my original post and fixed the link. You should be able see what I'm talking about now. I haven't moved or modified any of the installed files or pictures, and I installed to the default directory.

Is 3D enabled in the game setup/config?

I've tried both enabled and disabled. The weird thing is that it worked the first time I played.

Did you make any changes (uninstall/install/etc) to your system between the first time and the time this showed up?

I think I fixed it. I think there was something wrong with shortcut on my desktop created by the install. When I launched the app from the .exe everything worked OK. So I deleted the shortcut and created a new one, and now all of the images show up. Very strange... I wish I had looked at the properties of the shortcut before deleting it!
