I let you judge on that one but... Camillo Carreon should be listed as Hispanic not caucasian in the database, yes he was born in California but his father immigrated from Mexico and his mother was certainly Mexican too going from her name (Socorro Garcia).

I don't know if that one if fixed since it's about a name... Charlie O'Rourke (orourk004jam) in the game should be named Jim O'Rourke not Charlie. I don't know where the Charlie name came from, his real name was James Patrick O'Rourke and Cinemaodyssey use Jim P_O'Rourke in his photopack for him.

Edit: His facial type is wrong too, he was caucasian not african...

He used to be Charlie on BBR. Note his ID is o'rouch01 with the -ch there and the Bullpen notes the a.k.a. Aligned the name with current BBR swapping the primary name and the aka. Changed facial type too.

Andy Etchebarren (etcheb001and) have the wrong facial type in database (26), he is caucasian not hispanic.

Another one... Deacon Jones (jones-001gro) is listed as caucasian in the database, he is african.

I tried to download using youkike01 and also went to History Index, Boston Red Sox 2008, found his link, downloaded from there but cannot get the exact year. I go into the editor and it won't allow me to edit the year for the correct file. Also, sometimes his name shows up in 2008 and sometimes it doesn't.

Okay, I will try it but I thought his name was spelled Kevin Youkilis. Not Youklis. That is how it is spelled in the Baseball Reference.

When I get back in town on Saturday I will check the db is using the right ID but if it worked, it is. If you look hard at the ID you assumed, I think you will understand why BBR uses an L in lieu of an i. Let’s leave it at that. Glad you were able to import him. That’s the important thing.

Oh there's actually some lore with the reason behind that. BR changed it in 2007 because the letters by pure coincidence aligned perfectly to spell "you (blank)" and it just so happens that Youkilis is Jewish so they made a special edit to that one to avoid any angry emails from people who aren't familiar with how the ID tags work.

This is pretty minor but there are 2 Red Smiths in my random league. Would be nice if one or both had their middle initials.

Hey bud, for some reason the following players did not come in as rookies for 1978 despite being on the master csv for that year:

Dennis Littlejohn

Domingo Ramos

Any reason you can think of that would happen? I have checked and neither is already in the save.

The game no longer uses the Debut Year field in the Master.csv to determine the import year. It looks for stat lines and apparently not fielding-only ones which they have in the db properly. I can add an all zeroes batting line to each and see if that helps. AESP has reported similar issues with one-off earlier guys.
