*** Offseason 2026 MLB Rosters - Official CBL roster set***

v4 with all Major League and Minor League Free Agents in FA pool now available!!

Hey gang,

Well we made it though another exciting baseball season! This is a GREAT time to start up a franchise before free agency gets rolling.

What is in the file:

- End of playoffs with Dodgers winning World Series
- CBL batter splits leveraging recent and career splits
- Ratings/Talents adjustments for many players based on 2025 performance
- Updated Injuries
- Free agents expected to come over from Japan including Murakami and a few others
- No adjustments to draft prospects.
- Adjusted market size/budgets
- Updated park ratings for Sutter Health ballpark
- Updated awards for Gold Glove selections
- As part of "manual" award selections, I also did my best to predict the award winners for MVP, etc.

**** IMPORTANT REMINDER. AFTER YOU SELECT YOUR TEAM BE SURE TO ENABLE CPU AI TO MAKE MOVES. I disable this intentionally when designing roster sets so AI doesn’t move players around as I am adjusting. ****

More than likely I plan to use this as my own franchise start, and potentially will be only roster update I post.

LOL YOU HAVE NO UNGODLY IDEA HOW BADLY I NEEDED THIS. did you update staffs too? (Gabe Kapler as GM, Toboni in WAS, new managers. Coaches fired etc)

Majority of MLB jobs updated - did not review any minor league coaching changes.

How much work would it be to release a version calibrated to the standard OOTP ratings?

To be honest, I’ve had my own ratings system implemented quite successfully in OOTP over the past nearly 3 years with thousands of views & downloads from my roster sets. My ratings system tends to be a bit more conservative overall, but results speak for themselves.

With that said I would recommend to “auto calc” the settings before Spring training or regular season. That way the modifiers can adjust to enhance statistical output.

Another reco - after auto calc I would make sure MLB pitcher endurance is set to “low” and stamina for SP & RP around .90-.95.

This is correct!
Extract to saved folder

Go to main screen in OOTP and load save file from there.

I would also recommend being on the latest patch.

Having this too. Thought I could enter a contract in for Josh Naylor for 1 year, and then offer an extension, but he doesn't even want to talk extension.

Anyone know if player's change their mind over the year?

Does this occur the first day in file, or once free agency technically opens later in the November for OOTP?

Also….is this issue trying to resign player for team they just left (Ie Pete Alonso back to the Mets), or any free agent?
