BA top 10
A Top 10 for batting average would be preferable. Not all stats are equal in terms of leaders. That was a classic one for a reason. Also because in fictional leagues, you can’t separate the leagues when you go into sortable stats either.
The point of having the leaders, as it was when people read newspapers, was to get a glimpse of what other players around the league are doing beyond your own team. A lot of stats a top 5 or so cover pretty well. BA is a good one to extend more. Also because if you have a guy hitting .325 on your team you are more curious as to how he ranks. If you have a guy with 25 HRs you already have a good idea. Last edited by SR000; 09-21-2025 at 03:34 PM. |

Yes this is a good idea. I suggest it could be a statistics option to show Top 10 for whatever category you like, batter and pitcher, but just a list.
Also it could be Top xx too. You can do this in the sortable statistics, but it does not look like you can save it for each category. |

I still say we need the yearly batting champions recognized on a page similar to the page that shows the MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year and Top Reliever. I would hope this separate page would allow us the user the option of selecting the 4 or 5 or 6 etc. categories we want displayed. I think it stinks that we have to go to the league page to look up batting champions, home run champions etc.
