Howdy all,

I'm back from uniform-making purgatory with an even more ambitious Evergreen Project for OOTP 26. I've spent the past six months rebuilding my uniform templates from the ground up, remaking and updating all of the uniforms I made last year, and expanding the scope of the project.

As a reminder, the Evergreen Project is my attempt to create as many real-life, accurate uniform assets, without all of the ads, commemorative patches, and so forth. Thus, when you sim to the 2026 season, the Braves won't still have the 2025 all-star game patch; or, if you change the affiliation of minor league teams, that won't have a mismatching sleeve patch from a different club.

Once finished, this project will feature over 7,000 files from over 450 teams in North America. Here's what that will cover:

MLB: Every cap, jersey, pants, socks, fonts, and logos for all 30 MLB teams worn in 2025 (excluding any one-off special events, i.e. Mother's Day, Independence Day, etc.).

MiLB: Home, Road, and up to 3 Alternate caps, jerseys, pants, socks, fonts, and logos for all 120 minor league teams worn in 2025. There will also be assets available to use for ACL, FCL, and DSL affiliates.

Indy: Home, Road, and one Alternate (if applicable) caps, jerseys, pants, socks, fonts, and logos for every active Atlantic League, American Association, Frontier League, and Pioneer League team in 2025.

Summer: Home and Away caps, jerseys, pants, socks, logos, and fonts for the Summer collegiate league teams included in the game (MLB Draft League, Arizona Fall League, Cape Cod League, Appalachian League, Northwoods League, and Prospect League).

WBC: Home, Away, and some Alternate caps, jerseys, pants, socks, fonts, and logos for every World Baseball Classic team in the 2025 qualifiers and 2026 tournament.

Bonus: And much more, including uniforms for All-Star Games, Expansion MLB team concepts, additional summer league teams, some defunct or dormant minor league teams.

Here it the tentative roadmap for finishing and uploading all of these files:

Version 0.1: March 11: MLB & MiLB.
Version 1.0: April 10: MLB & MiLB updates, All-Star Game, & WBC.
Version 2.0: May 1: Independent & Summer league.
Version 3.0: June 1: Bonus stuff, including expansion and defunct teams.
Version 4.0: July 1: ???

This is great, but when I tried using the jersey fonts, which are webp format, they were not recognized in OOTP26. Is there some way to make them work?

I'm pleased to report that if you put the .webp jersey fonts into the OOTP26 main jersey fonts folder, then they will work.

I will probably get around to doing the Copas, but it will take a long time to get them done. The designs are great, but they're difficult to replicate without cutting corners re: accuracy (I mean, look at this thing. Two very intricate, very different patterns merging into one another; and I thought the City Connect jerseys were difficult!).

I'll probably start with teams that I only have two or three jerseys for and expand out from there.

Yup, the game is very picky about where the jersey font files are placed (and socks, to a lesser extent).

New update, which I'm calling Version 0.2:

• Added 2025 Houston Astros City Connect (I might adjust the cap logo and jersey font in future updates).
• Added new Cincinnati Reds home alternate jersey and font (file name "cincinnati_reds_white").
• Added new Albuquerque Isotopes Duke City alternate uniform ("albuquerque_isotopes_black").
• Removed City Connect uniforms that were retired at the end of last year (ARI, CWS, COL, SF).
• Re-uploaded all of my files with better compression (a lot of the files I uploaded previously were bloated and slowed everything down).

I'm currently working on some behind-the-scenes stuff and Color XML files. I'll try to have MLB color files and a project spreadsheet available in the next week or so.

This will be great. There is to be 8 new city connect jerseys this year. Houston is one of them.

I finally got the complete set and I got to say that this set blows my mind. So much work and attention to detail I find it incredible. Thank you for this set.

New update for Opening Day!

• Added the Nationals new city connect uniforms (I might need to tweak the shade of blue down the line).
• Added the Royals batting practice cap for their powder blue uniform.
• Removed the Braves all-blue road cap, which was retired (Atlanta will wear the red brim and button cap with all non-CC uniforms this year [looks like they wore the all-blue cap Opening Day....]).
• Renamed a bunch of minor league uniform components that were either misspelled or missing team names (eventually I'll get around to deleting the misnamed ones).
• Fixed a few instances where jersey and pants colors didn't match (Greensboro Grasshoppers, for one).
• Added Color xml files for MLB teams (color xmls are still really tricky to use, so these are only recommended for experienced mod importers).
• Added a spreadsheet of all uniform components and a matrix to help with manual alternate uniform imports.

I'll keep an eye on what teams are wearing for the next few weeks to see if anything else new shows up that wasn't previously leaked or announced. I'm also waiting on new independent teams (Gastonia Ghost Peppers, Mississippi Mud Monsters, and Down East Bird Dawgs) to announce their inaugural uniforms. Once they do, I'll add the Atlantic League, American Association, Frontier League, and Pioneer League uniforms.

In the meantime, thanks everyone who's provided feedback and suggestions!

That reminds me of a question I keep forgetting to ask: Is it possible to change batting helmets, or if not do they a/mirror the chosen home/away caps or b/are somewhere in the program locked into whatever they started as?
