Importing 25 into 26

Hey guys.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have imported our 25 file into 26 no problem. I even know how to add guys like Sasaki and the other international players.

My problem is I have no idea how to do the following.

1. Updating the projections
2. Making sure I have all the prospects added from the 26 draft file. I need to basically add anyone who wasn't on a roster in our 25 file.

Can anyone let me know how to do this. I am not great at all when it comes to this stuff iso please tell me like Im 5.

Thank you ion advance.

The problem is, there is no simple way to do this, unfortunately

It takes some definite excel skills and practice to make happen.

Basically, what you have to do is export the rosters from a 2026 league with the ratings/projections you want, and copy those over the ones from your league (which you'd have exported to a different file).

You'll probably need to set up some lookup tables to grab the right data and put it in the right places, since if you just copy/paste you'll get data going to the wrong players.

Then when you import back into your league, need to make sure that you have not changed any player id's in the import file or it will fail.

Draft players is similar but maybe a touch easier. Would need to export from both files, then overwrite the ones in your league with the ones from the league you want to use to update. Again, need to be very careful of the id's and not change or add any of these, or it will fail on import.

So you pretty much need to generate enough fictional players in your league to ensure the draft class has the 'right' amount of id's that matches the players you want to import.

Thank you Lukas.

Wondering why there isn't an import from last year with update to new rating projections option available? This would make it so much easier.

What you are saying to do is well beyond my expertise.
