Well gang I have ONE more present for everyone on the eve of Opening Series in Tokyo. League file date is 3/18 with Dodgers and Cubs playing in Tokyo! Before you begin, remember to follow this step below. All teams at initial setting do not allow AI changes. enable with below:

Settings->League Settings->Set all computer teams to allow AI roster changes

If you wish to have the dynamic 3D scoreboards with real advertising I would suggest downloading this separate link. Replace your existing /ballparks folder in the OOTP26 to get these beauties! These have been updated by many talented folks on the mods section of the OOTP boards. They help really bring the game even more to life in 3D! This will also get you a dome stadium in Tokyo for the MLB Opening series. I would ** STRONGLY ** recommend you make a backup of your /ballparks folder before replacing.

Below is a backstory of why this project exists for any new peeps:

I appreciate many of you following along the past four months getting us to this point. For those that are new….welcome!! For those that have been on the journey together thank you for all of the support and love. I share my passion for baseball and rosters with my OOTP brethren. Over the past 2-3 years my roster sets have generated over 120,000+ views from the OOTP community which fills me with joy!

This update contains:

- Transactions as of 3/1725
- Tampa Bay Rays home field of George M Steinbrenner field
- Since they are playing in small capacity stadiums, for both the A’s and Rays, I’d suggest giving them $15-20M cash every season to offset the loss in attendance. Rays plan to move back to Tropicana for 2026 at least (and possibly through 2028, 2029). A’s plan to be in Sacramento I believe the next three seasons.
- MLB trade rumors posted players out of options so I’ve updated those
- Ratings/potentials based on 2024 season and/or 2025 projections
- R/L Splits for most of MLB batters
- Updates to NRI and minor league players (as best as possible from FanGraphs)
- Updated rating/potentials for Top 30 prospects all 30 organizations per Baseball America scouting reports
- Placed Top 100 IAFA on correct teams. Scouting reports based on Baseball America and MLB Pipeline
- Accurate Rule 5 selections and tagged with former team if player moved off existing team active roster
- Updates around ~1500 players options and MLB service time. This is HUGE. Many players are off. I used an export from Fangraphs depth charts to update.
- Accurate 2025 MLB schedule - opening series begins in Tokyo
- Updates MLB 2025 draft order (*** this should be mostly accurate…may need to adjust with signings past few weeks)
- Calibrations for players at AAA and AA levels
- Updates to the player popularity ratings
- Updates to some injury proneness and different areas.
- Speed ratings based on Baseball Savant Sprint speeds for at least MLB players who qualified
- Updates to injuries as of 3/17 based on current available information
- Updates to Top 50 MLB draft prospects
- Updates to market sizes
- Updates to budgets

If not specifically called out above, I lean heavily on in this order:

- Baseball America
- Baseball Savant
- FanGraphs
- MLB Pipeline
- MLB Trade Rumors
- Various Baseball podcasts/team-specific sites

I’ve had many people ask me how I do what I do…tons of research, tons of update queries leveraging databases to update ratings/potentials, and many many MANY other checks.

How do you load the games into ootp 26? I have them in my quickstart and saved games folders?

unzip the folder to saved_games folder

Should be something like MLB 2025 3-18-25.lg

Then load game from OOTP26 start window!

One more note....
I would suggest loading in the stadiums first before loading the league file.

Stadium files also contain Tokyo and a specific ID number the OOTP scheduling uses to determine which field teams play at.

I’m not certain it’s “backwards compatible” unfortunately. Work I’ve done the past several has been importing my roster to v26 and updating

I tried to load your league file in OOTP25 and It didn't work. I thought you mentioned that you imported your 25 file into 26 to make the current download file. Just wondering if you could also upload the 25 file for those of us that haven't purchased 26. Thank again.

This rocks, can't wait to start my save using this. Just one flag, and it is minor, but it looks like the athletics team history has them in sacramento in 2024, and every player from last year has the statline of "ATH" (instead of "OAK" in 2023) on their player pages

CBL's saved game makes the temporary Tampa Bay stadium (Steinbrenner Field) available on the list of MLB ballparks. But I couldn't find any files related to that stadium in the folder that he provided. Is it possible to get that stadium as an option for MLB teams in a standard OOTP26 game save?

If you download the parks link above, I am using a modified TD Ballpark version for the 3D Stadium for the Rays. Park factors should be same/similar to Yankee stadium, which George M Steinbrenner field is modeled after.

I am not the 3D guru at all, but put in some Rays-based logos etc to make it feel more like home

Thanks! I found the right stadium folder in the Ballparks folder you provided. But I can't figure out how to make that TD folder accessible when I go to the Park Profile for Tampa Bay. I tried dropping it into the ballparks folder associated with OOTP26 on my computer, but that was not enough. I seem to be missing some other step.
