Invalid Database Version - FHM10

Good afternoon,

So this has happened to me two separate times now. But I try to load a save and it gives me the error "Invalid Database Version"

I'm not sure why it's happening or what is happening. But I've lost two different saves that I've spent over 10 hours each on and it's getting very frustrating.

The only thing I've done is save the game and then exit.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem or has a potential fix

Edit: do you use OneDrive?

I do use OneDrive - I zipped the folder and moved it to my OneDrive. I'm not sure if that helps, otherwise I can upload it the way the instructions say.

It seems like whenever I exit the game it corrupts my files.

No, the question about One Drive is more about if it is messing up with the Save System.

That may be what's causing your issues though.

I believe the solution to this is to just start a new game, then copy the 'continents.dat' file from the
new game to replace the equivalent file in the corrupted game?

It should then load correctly.

I may be mis-remembering however.

Okay, that makes sense. I dont use One Drive for my saves, everything is stored on my desktop. Unless I just disable One Drive period. I'm using a ROG Ally to play the game that's docked into a monitor. So it's not like a normal PC where I'm attempting to store files.
