Awarding Card Packs

I returned to PT 24 (still play in leagues) and enjoyed it. More than I anticipated. The model plays efficiently and the built in options for play are exciting and fun. Congrats to the PT 25 developers for this excellent version.

Their is one element that is beginning to push me away from PT 25 and that is awarding card packs for watching streams. I get the reason behind it.

It is an activity that takes me away from my team and team management.

It's not something I want to debate because lots of players enjoy it. This is simply a request to consider and evaluate how the game awards card packs.

Thanks for reading.

You can probably do what most people do...turn it on, and run errands, or do things around the house, while its streaming, and then go to the inventory page and click and collect.

Your opinion is noted. But, not agreed with by me. Watch or don't. Get the packs or not. Why ask for something to be taken away that so many others like and enjoy?

Maybe you have a lot of money to buy packs; I don't know. Most others don't have that money and those stream packs along with tournament packs are the lifeblood of many, many players. Add that with the fact that there is a ton of information brought to us by the Streamers. They know the game and have guests that do too. Watch and learn; pick up a few packs as you do!

Have fun playing.

Yeah, sorry not sorry, the stream packs are a major source of cards for me (I'm F2P, thanks for asking), and while the content isn't always terribly engaging, I've learned a thing or two (like how to put together teams that've netted me some packs in quick tourneys) and had a few laughs.

Just today, I opened a standard pack I got from a stream, and was introduced to Ed McKean of the 1890 Cleveland G...er, Spiders. A perfect card.

I'll keep the Twitch streaming packs, thanks.

I like the stream packs AND the content provided by affiliate streamers. Shout out to Dr. Dynastic and laptophound for streams that are worth watching even after all packs have been collected.

Yeah, the twitch packs are a strong reason why I enjoy PT. Without that steady influx of cards, I probably don't play PT, and wouldn't have bought the new version. The sim engine / base game has been adequate for my playing satisfaction for quite some time.
