Can you create players?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but can I create players? I want to add Yamamoto into the game

Also when I try to do a live start no matter if I set it as January they give me end of the season rosters. Is that as far as they go?

You can create a new player in the free agent menu (you have to be in Commishener Mode). Look at available actions in a menu on the right.

I think cut-off time for rosters in Live Start is Nov.30.
