I slapped together some Iron set finally a couple weeks ago (sans the limited edition, naturally! though I think they aren't optimal regardless) and (got lucky) and won a few of the iron tourneys with what has to be a substandard roster.....

....... and was thinking how neat those fee based tourneys might be if they had reasonable card limitations on them.

They appear to never run. The "harshest" limitation is gold and below cards. So then I'd ask -- why would anyone that can field a competitive roster of gold and below cards participate in this tourney? They'd just buy points.

A good idea. Shame about the poor implementation. Laugh.

Do you need to do things "a certain way" to get to Diamond? Sure...spend wisely. Invest your time carefully. Don't get emotional. And for God's sake, don't waste your time stocking your team with players just because you like them.

I like the drafts, though I can understand why some people wouldn't want to spend the time on the draft itself. It's something I can multitask whilst engaged with other projects.

I just about missed that I got an entry into this "PTCS Daily PD" tournament, though (didn't log on for ~10 days). I'd love an option to turn on email notification for this.
