OOTP GO 23 and iOS 16

First off, I get that iOS 16 is not released and, therefore, not supported. So this is more of a "is this a known issue" and less of a "why doesn't this work" post.

Like many, I was excited to see that Go 23 was released today. While it crashed on me several times when I initially launched it, I didn't think too much about it. I reached the point where I was going to purchase the 2022 season, and by all accounts, it appears the purchase went through as I got something from PayPal saying I authorized $4.99. But it doesn't look like it worked. Nor can I restore an IAP. When I try, it just crashes the game. So maybe the IAP did not go through.

Anyway, there seems to be some general weirdness with iOS 16 and Go 23 to the point where I can't do anything. And FYI...this is also happening on my iPad, which is also running iPadOS 16 Public Beta 4. So this at least eliminates an issue with my iPhone and/or iPad.

For now, I will wait patiently for perhaps a build of iOS that will work or an update of Go that might play better with the beta...or both.

I can corroborate the issue, confirmed on an iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16.0 Public Beta, latest version. I did the exact same thing, and I am now charged $4.99 without being able to play current rosters or any historical (other than the three included).

I tried downgrading to the previous 16.0 public beta (1) and the crashing/unplayability still occurs. Apple's IAP API is incompatible with the OOTP Go 23 implementation. iOS 16 releases in September to hundreds of millions of iPhones, and iPadOS 16 will likely release in October. Given the issue is on both software builds, it should be vital to get this squashed ASAP.

Can you update to the very newest release of iOS 16 beta? I've heard that things are working now in the newest version

Unfortunately it is still crashing for me on the latest public beta 3 (iPhone 13 Pro Max), and the latest developer beta 5 (iPad Pro 12.9 M1), both released this week.

Nope. The second I hit purchase season it crashes. Also when I load my seasons from the last version, if I leave the game and reload they are all gone again

The first thing is unfortunately still under investigation then, but the second one has been fixed in the newest patch
