Custom League Issues

While I like the ability to add leagues after you've started a game, there do seem to be some issues with it:

- First, any "new" leagues don't seem to track their history. Every time I look at the "History" tag for a league created after the game was started, the screen is blank, no matter how many seasons I've played.

- Second, and I think more importantly, I can't seem to sign anyone after July 1. Every time I try to sign a player all I see is "I'm not interested in any further negotiations," even if I had never spoken to the guy before. This comes up even if I need to sign players to my team because my roster isn't complete yet. Also, anyone on the last year of their contract refuses to re-sign, no matter how good they are.

I do like this feature, I'd like to see this get fixed. Anyone else having similar issues?

I'm getting a regular history page and can negotiate normally with free agents when I add a new league and then take over a team in the second season. Can you upload a save (instructions here) where this is happening to you so we can have a look at it? Might be something specific in the league settings that's causing that, and I'm not doing the same thing in my test .

I'll be sending you a PM shortly, but the issue I have (in my save anyway) is that I'm at September 20 (the day the Pre-Season starts), and no free agent (not even really bad ones) want to sign. Every attempt I get is "I'm not interested in further negotiations". Also, guys on their last year of the contract don't want to re-sign. The league I'm in is rated 0.99, so it's not an awful league. Issues may start after July, I'm not sure. Anyway, game isn't tracking history for the new league either.

Ah, I think it may be an issue with the league and/or team nationalities, although it seems to be doing that with local players as well, so that may not be 100% of the problem. We'll have to dig into this a little further.

The leaders may be a bug - the game is actually tracking the history if you open the previous season, or look in an individual leaderboards category, it's just not creating the leaders. We'll have a look at that as well.

Turned out to be one setting that wasn't getting updated properly in some situations with a new league. It'll be fixed in the update.
