One Quality GM Up for Grabs

My name is Eric and I have played OOTP for a year and a half. on-line. I am experienced and reliable. I'm looking to join a very specific type of league. Here's what I'm looking for:

1) At least 24 teams
2) Revenue sharing/Cash Cap (Between 10 and 20 mil)
3) Salary Cap (At least 75 mil)
4) Modern league (real or generated players)
5) A great commish more concerned about the league than his own team.
6) I'd prefer a league that's established, but I wouldn';t mind getting in on the ground floor either (always a risk, but it can pay off)

Hello, Eric.

You might want to keep an eye on the TSTBL, which is linked in my signature. We're just ending our 2011 season, and it's possible that a team will become available after roll call, which I expect to be taken some time this week. We're not as shiny as some of the other leagues, but we have a great commissioner, a great core of owners, and I'm very happy to be a part its activities.

The specifics, relating to your post:

-24 teams (we expanded from 20 in 2008)
-$80,000,000 salary cap
-started as modern "youth" (ML players at/under 25) league in 2002
-terrific commissioner
-we're about to complete our tenth season, and to my knowledge, scheduled sims have only ever been pushed-back or cancelled twice (erm, or is it once?)

We sim three times weekly, two weeks per sim.

The exception would be your desire to join a league with revenue sharing or a fairly-tight cash cap. Out current cash cap is $35,000,000. However, parity is very important to the league, and should the financial health of the smaller teams versus the giants become an issue in the future, it will surely be addressed. You see, as we began with such young players, major-league level payrolls only came into existence a few seasons ago.

So, if you like what you see, send an e-mail to our commissioner at tstblcommish@yahoo.com. We're always on the look-out for dedicated owners. I can't say for sure that a position will become available, but there's often one or two that leave us at the start of each season.
